3M™ PTFE Film Tape 5480 is a gray PTFE skived film tape designed to create a smooth, low-friction surface on different substrates. Its PTFE backing provides a non-stick surface, while the pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive allows the tape to be applied to a variety of surfaces.

The tape is particularly useful where materials need to move smoothly across rollers, plates, belts, or other surfaces. Its combination of PTFE film and silicone adhesive also supports applications involving heat, friction, abrasion, and chemical exposure.
