3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive DP405 is a black, toughened, two-part epoxy structural adhesive designed to deliver high peel and shear strength, along with excellent impact and fatigue resistance, for demanding industrial bonding applications. It provides tough, long-lasting bonds that outperform conventional 5-minute epoxies.

This epoxy features a fast 5-minute work life with a quick cure, making it ideal for applications requiring rapid assembly and early handling strength. 3M DP405 cures at room temperature, eliminating the need for external heat and making it a convenient, easy-to-use solution for challenging bonding conditions.

Formulated for durability, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP405 maintains bond strength at both high and low temperatures and can withstand paint bake cycles up to 400°F (204°C) for 60 minutes. It bonds effectively to a wide variety of substrates including metals, ceramics, wood, glass, and composite materials, making it suitable for structural bonding, panel bonding, potting, and heavy-duty mounting applications.
