3M Scotch-Weld Structural Plastic Adhesive DP8005 is a high-performance, two-part acrylic structural adhesive specifically engineered to create strong, durable bonds on low surface energy (LSE) plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) with minimal or no surface preparation.

Unlike conventional adhesives, DP8005 eliminates the need for primers, flame treatment, plasma, corona, or chemical etching, significantly reducing processing time and cost. A simple solvent wipe is sufficient, making it an ideal solution for high-efficiency industrial bonding applications.

This structural plastic adhesive is formulated to bond multi-material assemblies, including LSE plastics, thermoplastics, composites, metals, ceramics, wood, and most other plastics.
