Its smooth, creamy, off-white paste fills the spaces between mating threads and cures when confined away from air. This helps create a dependable seal while reducing leakage and loosening caused by vibration or mechanical shockThe compound contains lubricating properties that help minimise thread galling during assembly, including on stainless steel and aluminium fittings. It works with both reactive metals, such as brass and copper, and less-reactive surfaces, including stainless steel and plated metals.
