How to Use Loctite SF 7240

1. Surfaces may be bonded "as received" but cleaning is recommended for maximum strength.
2. Brush Loctite SF 7240 activator onto one mating surface to be bonded.
3. Apply the Loctite anaerobic adhesive to the other surface.
4. For large gaps (>0.4 mm) or maximum speed, treat both surfaces.
5. Complete bond assembly within 6 hours of activator application.
6. Once adhesive is applied to an activated surface, complete assembly within 15 seconds.
7. Secure assembly and await fixturing before any further handling.
