Loctite SI 595, also known as Loctite Superflex® Clear RTV Silicone, is a single-component, clear room-temperature vulcanising (RTV) silicone sealant that provides outstanding adhesion, flexibility, and environmental resistance for mechanical assemblies. This acetoxy silicone sealant cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a tough, flexible silicone rubber seal that resists aging, weathering, thermal cycling, UV light, and ozone.

Unlike anaerobic sealants, Loctite SI 595 clear silicone sealant is ideal for applications involving non-metallic substrates, large gaps, and surfaces requiring a flexible seal. It is non-flammable, non-toxic, and NSF/ANSI Standard 51 certified for use in food equipment.

How to Use Loctite SI 595

1. Clean and dry surfaces; remove all oil and grease.
2. Apply product to one surface only for bonding; join surfaces immediately.
3. For pressurised containers, apply in the direction of use (forward).
4. Wipe away excess material immediately before cure.
5. For cleanup: allow excess to cure at the nozzle tip; break off and reuse. Remove uncured product with a dry cloth.
