How to Use Loctite 222

1. Clean all surfaces with Loctite cleaning solvent and allow to dry.
2. For inactive metals or slow cure, spray threads with Activator SF 7471™ or SF 7649™.
3. Shake the product thoroughly before use.
4. For thru holes: apply drops onto the bolt at the nut engagement area.
5. For blind holes: apply drops down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole.
6. Assemble and tighten as required.
7. For disassembly: standard hand tools; in rare cases of excessive engagement, heat to ~250°C.
