Loctite AA 324 Structural Adhesive(bottle)

Loctite AA 324, also known as Loctite 324™, is a general-purpose structural acrylic adhesive specifically formulated for toughness and impact strength. Where standard structural adhesives become brittle under shock or impact loading, Loctite AA 324 structural adhesive maintains bond integrity — making it the engineer's choice for electric motors, loudspeaker hardware, and bonding of ferrites and plated materials.

This urethane methacrylate ester cures anaerobically when confined between close-fitting parts with the aid of an activator. Loctite AA 324 offers excellent electrical insulation properties alongside its structural strength, with a high dielectric breakdown strength of 73 kV/mm.

How to Use Loctite AA 324

1. Ensure bond surfaces are clean and free from grease.
2. Apply Activator 7387™ to one bond surface and adhesive to the other; assemble within 15 minutes.
3. Recommended bondline gap is 0.1 mm. For larger gaps (up to 0.5 mm) or faster cure, apply activator to both surfaces and assemble within 1 minute.
4. Excess adhesive can be wiped away with organic solvent.
5. Hold or clamp the bond until fixtured.
6. Allow 24–72 hours for full strength development before service loading.
