How to Use Loctite 406

1. Clean bond areas and ensure they are free from grease; use a Loctite cleaning solvent.
2. For low-energy plastic surfaces, apply Loctite Primer to improve bonding and allow to dry.
3. Apply Loctite Activator to one bond surface if needed (not on the primed surface) and allow to dry.
4. Apply adhesive to one bond surface (not the activated surface); assemble within a few seconds.
5. Hold or clamp parts until fixtured.
6. Allow 24–72 hours for full strength development before service loading.
