Fix All Crystal offers a genuinely crystal-clear formulation with excellent adhesion on nearly all surfaces, even when slightly moist — a major advantage over traditional silicone or acrylic sealants that demand perfectly dry substrates. It's impervious to mould thanks to a built-in fungicidal biocide, making it well-suited for sanitary applications, and it extrudes well even at low temperatures. The formula is free of isocyanates, solvents, halogens, and acids, and can be painted with water-based systems while remaining permanently elastic after curing.

Performance Data

Fix All Crystal has a specific gravity of 1.05 and forms a skin in approximately 4 minutes, curing at 2–3mm per 24 hours. Cured hardness measures 38±5 Shore A, with tensile strength of approximately 1.80 N/mm², elongation at break of approximately 350%, and an elasticity modulus at 100% of approximately 0.6 N/mm². Maximum allowed distortion is ±20%, with elastic recovery exceeding 75%, and the product withstands temperatures from -40°C to +90°C once cured.

Applications

Fix All Crystal is used for all common bonding applications both indoors and outdoors, sealing joints indoors, transparent and elastic bonding in construction, invisible bonding of glass and other transparent materials, and joints in bathrooms and kitchens. Minimum bonding width is 1mm (maximum 3mm), while joint sealing applications run from 5mm to 10mm in width with a minimum depth of 5mm.

Directions for Use

Surfaces should be clean, dry or slightly moist, and free of dust and grease. Porous surfaces should be primed with Primer 150, while non-porous surfaces benefit from a Soudal activator or cleaner. Apply with a manual, pneumatic, or battery-powered caulking gun. Clean uncured product with Soudal Surface Cleaner or Swipex immediately after use; cured Fix All Crystal can only be removed mechanically. Note that Fix All Crystal is not recommended for bonding PMMA (Plexiglas) or polycarbonate under stress, as it can cause stress cracking, and it should not be used as a glazing sealant, on natural stone, or for aquarium bonding.
