It withstands a temperature resistance range of -20°C to +80°C, with an application temperature window of -5°C to +35°C.

Applications

Soudal Window Seal Brown 8007 is used for telecom shelters, uPVC profiles, aluminium fenestration, door and window frames, ACP, glass, brick, concrete, and wood applications, as well as general building and construction connection joints. It is not suitable for natural stone, structural glazing, mirrors, glass-to-glass bonding, or automotive applications, where dedicated structural sealants are required instead.

Directions for Use

Apply with a handheld or pneumatic caulking gun, smoothing the sealant with a filling knife for a clean finish. Application temperature should fall between +5°C and +35°C, avoiding use when rain or frost is imminent. Uncured Window Seal can be removed from tools with water; cured sealant requires mechanical removal. Finish with water for a smooth bead, and confirm paint compatibility before overcoating, since the paint must be elastic enough to move with the plasto-elastic sealant.
