Window Seal White shares the same acrylic dispersion base as the full Window Seal range, with a specific gravity of approximately 1.5 and maximum gap-filling capacity of 8mm. Skin formation occurs in approximately 20–30 minutes, with shrinkage of ≤15% and maximum allowed distortion of 15%. The cured sealant withstands -20°C to +80°C, with an application window of -5°C to +35°C, covering the full range of seasonal installation conditions.

Applications

Window Seal White is used for sealing telecom shelters, uPVC profiles, aluminium fenestration, door and window frames, ACP, glass, brick, concrete, and wood, plus general building and construction connection joints. As with all Window Seal variants, it is not intended for natural stone, structural glazing, mirror installation, glass-to-glass bonding, or automotive sealing.

Directions for Use

Apply with a handheld or pneumatic caulking gun, smoothing with a filling knife for a clean bead. Apply between +5°C and +35°C, avoiding application during rain or imminent frost. Clean uncured product from tools with water; cured sealant must be removed mechanically. Finish with water, and test paint compatibility before overcoating, since the topcoat needs sufficient elasticity to move with the underlying plasto-elastic sealant without cracking.
